Privacy Policy
Leslez is a font library you can use without telling us who you are. This page explains the little information that is handled when you visit, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
The Short Version
- You do not need an account to browse or download, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any kind of ID.
- We do not know who you are when you visit a font page or download a font.
- We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used as a whole, for example which pages are read and which are slow. It is not used to follow you, to build a profile of you or to show you advertising.
- We do not sell information about visitors, and we do not share it for advertising.
Download Security
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the download verification page to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical browser and network information for this check. Our server validates the verification token before directing you to the font file. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
What We Do Not Collect
Leslez has no sign-up, no login and no contact form. Downloads are not linked to a person. We do not collect payment details, because nothing on the site is for sale. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels, and we do not try to identify visitors through their device or browser settings.
The fonts you preview are loaded from Leslez's own file storage. Opening a font page does not send a request to Google Fonts, Bunny Fonts, Fontshare or any other font service.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google, to measure the site. It tells us things like how many people visited this week, which pages they opened, how they arrived (for example from a search) and whether pages loaded quickly. We use these totals to fix problems and to decide what to improve.
To do this, Google Analytics records:
- the pages you view, the time of the visit and the page that sent you here;
- the type of device, the browser and the screen size;
- an approximate location, at the level of city or country, worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses;
- a random identifier kept in a cookie, so that 2 page views in the same visit are counted as 1 visitor.
Our analytics tag disables Google Signals and advertising personalization. Google Analytics currently loads on our production website without an on-site consent banner. You can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Search Console
Google Search Console shows us how Leslez appears in Google search: which searches show our pages, how often they are clicked and whether Google can read the pages correctly. It adds no code or cookie to the site and collects nothing from you when you visit. The figures it gives us are totals from Google's own search data.
Fonts, Files And Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, it keeps standard logs of requests, which include the IP address, the browser and the page or file requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and to stop attacks, and they are kept for a short period set by the host.
Font ZIPs and full preview fonts are delivered by Cloudflare R2. Smaller previews, specimens and site images are delivered with the site by Netlify. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the files and to protect them from misuse. We do not use these records to identify anyone.
When You Email Us
If you write to one of our addresses, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use them only to reply and to deal with your message, and we delete them when they are no longer needed for that. Ask us at any time and we will delete them sooner.
Cookies
Google Analytics can set these cookies:
| Cookie | Set By | Purpose | Kept For |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart with a random identifier | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of the current visit | Up to 2 years |
You can delete these cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop any part of Leslez from working.
