From the chronicle of Kiev
Researchers who work on Slavic history and philology were the audience Aleksandr Andreev and Nikita Simmons had in mind. Monomakh draws Cyrillic in a mixed ustav and poluustav style, and it carries a Latin alphabet in the same manner, so a scholarly edition that quotes both alphabets can stay in 1 typeface.
The feature set shows the academic use. Contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures and 9 stylistic sets give an editor plenty of variant letterforms to work with. It came to Google Fonts in 2025, 1 Regular style.
For a title page or a quotation in a paper it reads fine; for a modern Russian novel, pick something else.
