Festival lights on every street

Akaya was planned as an experiment across 2 South Indian scripts. Vaishnavi Murthy and Juan Luis Blanco split it into 2 font files, Akaya Kanadaka for Kannada and Akaya Telivigala for Telugu, and gave both the same Latin, so a poster mixing Kannada and English here will match one done in Telugu with the sister font.

It is a single weight and firmly a display face. The Latin capitals stand tall over a small lowercase, and there are alternates and a stylistic set to play with. Set it big, for a festival banner or a book cover title, and let a plainer font handle the paragraphs.
