Final whistle, 2 to 1
Bahiana squeezes a headline into a narrow column and leaves the edges a little rough. It is a condensed face by Daniela Raskovsky and Pablo Cosgaya of Omnibus-Type, on Google Fonts since December 2016 and meant for titles and short bursts of text.
The interesting part is under the surface. The designers put contextual and stylistic alternates into the OpenType tables to loosen the texture, so a line of it looks less mechanical and more like it was lettered by somebody in a hurry. There is a stylistic set on top of that, and your layout app has to have those features switched on.
It covers more than 103 languages written in Latin, Guarani among them. Fit a long headline into a narrow column, or set a sports page in it; paragraphs, no.
