Betania Patmos strips each letter down to the path and sequence a hand follows to write it. Carolina Giovagnoli designed it at Huerta Tipográfica as a handwriting model for teaching children to read and write, and kept it plain on purpose so nothing decorative gets in the way of recognizing the letter.
She developed it with teachers and pedagogues, and with specialists in educational technology. A practical result: the joins run on contextual alternates, a method inspired by Rosalie Wagner’s Borel, so it works in LibreOffice or Microsoft Office without any fiddling. The letters are slightly condensed, so a practice sheet holds more words per row.
This is the guideline version, with lines drawn in for handwriting practice. For reading material without the lines, use the plain Betania Patmos.
