A Note On The Page
Beth Ellen · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Thinking of you this week
This is a mother’s handwriting. Beth Ellen Jelinski wrote notes all her life to share love and faith, and after she died of cancer on March 5, 2017, her son Rob Jelinski turned her penmanship into a font. He handled the art direction and design, Alyson Fraser Diaz the typography and the technical side, and they finished it in 2018.
Jelinski asked 1 thing of the people who use it: each time, send a short note to someone you love. A few words of love or encouragement, or a scripture, the way his mother wrote them.
The font itself is a single Regular with 243 characters and basic Latin. It writes large and wide, with loose strokes, so give it room on a card and keep it to a few lines.
