A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

The capitals do most of the talking in Engagement. Its small letters reach only 0.42 of the capital height, a very low figure, so an initial E or S towers over the word after it and the lowercase runs along underneath, slim and tightly packed.
Brian J. Bonislawsky made it at his Astigmatic studio as a brush script for semi-formal settings, the steady-handed kind with soft contours, sitting somewhere between a vintage card and something made last week. It has been on Google Fonts since December 2011 in 1 style, with standard ligatures and fractions. Because the lowercase is so small, we would not go under about 24 px with it; names on an invitation, the heading of a menu.
