A Note On The Page
Just Me Again Down Here · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Kimberly Geswein made this font a few weeks after she and her family moved to China, when she could not yet speak the language around her. Drawing her own messy handwriting on a Wacom tablet in Illustrator was, in her telling, a reminder that there was something she did know how to do, and that she would get through those first confusing weeks abroad.
It shows in the letters. Capitals turn up in the middle of words, strokes wander, nothing has been tidied. 1 Regular style, Latin only. Fine for a note on a scrapbook page or a casual blog header; a whole paragraph of it gets hard to follow.
