James Barnard, a designer in London, gave himself 24 hours to build a complete font, the whole character set with numbers included, and the name comes from that dare: ODB, for ‘one day build’, spelled out as Odibee.
The result is tall and very narrow, and that narrowness is its use. You can fit a long band name across a poster at a huge size, or a date and venue into a ticket stub. 1 Regular style, Latin only.
