Burmese is only part of what Padauk is for. SIL International built it to carry every Myanmar character in the Unicode standard, which brings in the minority languages written with the script, and it can draw them in either a local style or the Burmese one. The file also has 7 stylistic sets.
The font has 2 engines for its shaping. Graphite gives the most faithful rendering of the orthography, but only in programs that understand Graphite, LibreOffice for example. For everything else there are OpenType tables, a more basic rendering that works in Word and in web browsers.
Debbi Hosken and Becca Hirsbrunner Spalinger are the credited designers, and the copyright runs from 2002 to 2022, a long life for a font. The July 2022 release was a large update to its language support.
Regular and Bold only. For a Burmese report that is enough: 1 for the text, 1 for the headings.
