The government of Laos paid for this one. Its Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications commissioned Phetsarath as a font for the Lao language, and Danh Hong drew it, in Regular and Bold.

It is a compact file, about 100 glyphs: the Lao consonants, vowel signs and tone marks, Lao digits, and the basic punctuation and figures. There are no Latin letters at all, so any English in the same document needs a second font. For forms and plain Lao text that is fine.
