WANTED: HONEST SHERIFF

Sancreek was planned as a caps-only font, and Vernon Adams added a lowercase almost as an extra. Set it in capitals, then.

It takes its cue from the big wooden poster type of the 19th century, redrawn with a contemporary eye, and it wants the space a poster gives, a festival bill or the cover of a western. A November 2023 update enlarged the character set and touched up some shapes. 1 Regular with extended Latin, on Google Fonts since October 2011.
