In Boxing the contrast runs backward. The horizontals and the serifs carry the weight while the verticals stay thin, the trick behind the extended western letters on Wild West posters, and behind plenty of 19th century European poster type and 1960s and 1970s psychedelic graphics as well. Ruosi Huang drew it for Indian Type Foundry as a single, very wide Regular.
The name points at fight posters, and so does our advice: a couple of big words and a date. Long lines will run off the page.
