Big savings at the corner drugstore
Advertising in mid 20th century pulp magazines gave Vernon Adams the models for Sigmar. What came out is casual and very fat, a face meant only for display.
It runs wide, about 40% wider than Arial for the same words, and the lowercase is nearly as tall as the capitals, so even a short line fills a box. Keep headlines to a few words.
The Latin reaches Vietnamese, and there are stylistic alternates and fractions. For a mock vintage ad or a comic cover we would pick it without much thought.
