Samba tonight on the corner

Londrina started on a single poster. Marcelo Magalhães drew a capitals-only alphabet he called “New Folk” for it, saw something in the way it recalled the informal writing people put up every day in São Paulo, and built it out into a family with lowercase.

There are 4 members, Solid, Shadow, Outline and Sketch. Solid is the main style, and the others are meant to be combined with it, so Sketch can sit over a Solid layer for a different effect.

1 Regular style, basic Latin. A gig poster or a street festival flyer is the obvious place, preferably with Solid underneath.
