Manushi Parikh drew Nippo for sports jerseys, and the construction shows it: the curves have been straightened into horizontal and vertical strokes, with diagonals joining them at the corners. The strokes look even, but they are not quite. Crossbars on a and e are thinned slightly so the busy middle of those letters does not clog into a dark spot.
Barbara Bigosinska worked on it as well, and the Indian Type Foundry released it on Fontshare in March 2021, in 5 weights from Extralight to Bold. This page has 1 of them.
The alternates
6 stylistic sets change the voice. Among them are a G with no crossbar, a curved L, other versions of M, N and R, a T with a curled arm and a closed 4. Try them 1 at a time on a team name or a poster word before you commit to a look.
