Rubik Pixels is Rubik broken into pixels by a filter. NaN and Luke Prowse wrote the code that runs Rubik’s outlines through it, and the font is what came out the other end. The code is public in the Glyph-Filters repository on GitHub, and Pixels sits in the Rubik “Filtered” series with the rest.
Because it starts from Rubik, the original family by Hubert and Fischer, Meir Sadan and Cyreal, it keeps that family’s reach: Latin, Cyrillic and Hebrew. A pixel font that also sets Hebrew is a useful thing to have around. Keep it big, a game title or a poster headline, where the grid can be seen.
