Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Shalimar stands up straight. It is an upright script, its strokes taken from the calligraphy of a flat nib pen, and it is very narrow: a line of it fills about half the width the same line needs in Arial.
The capitals come in 2 flavors. By default they are script capitals; a stylistic set swaps them for more Roman forms when a word needs to sit calmer.
Rob Leuschke’s copyright on it reaches back to 2004, long before it went on Google Fonts in October 2021, a week after his Hurricane. The lowercase is small against those tall capitals, so we’d set it large, on a label, a quote or an invitation card that has more height than width to fill.
