Botticelli used Simonetta Vespucci, the celebrated beauty of Renaissance Florence, as the model for The Birth of Venus and for many of his other women, and Gayaneh Bagdasaryan named this face after her.
The letters look back to the Italian Humanist types of that period and then go their own way. Serifs grow on 1 side only and the terminals finish in soft drops. Even the roman leans, by some 2 degrees, and the italics share exactly that slant, so what tells the 2 apart is shape alone, the italic being more calligraphic and angular.
Bagdasaryan released it through her foundry Brownfox in 2012 in 2 weights, Regular and Black, each with an italic. Nothing in between. For display that is no loss; a Black title over a Regular subtitle gives plenty of contrast.
It runs narrow, with a lowish x-height. Book titles and invitations, then, and keep it out of the paragraphs.
