Version 33. That number on the files says something about Vazirmatn: Saber Rastikerdar has been releasing and reworking it since 2015, when it started under the name Vazir, with the plain aim of a simple, legible Persian typeface for web pages and applications.
The free DejaVu Sans, version 2.35, gave the project its software base at the start, though the Arabic that Rastikerdar drew on it is a completely different design. The Latin comes from Roboto, which makes the pairing easy if Roboto is already in your interface.
The June 2022 release fixed bugs, improved the drawing and enlarged the glyph set. 9 weights run from Thin to Black, and the feature list includes tabular figures, small caps on the Latin side and discretionary ligatures.
In practice this is a workhorse for Persian and Arabic screens: menus, form labels, dashboards, an online shop. Use Regular for text and Bold for buttons, and leave the Thin for large display lines.
