Old cartoon title cards and comic book lettering are what Juan Pablo del Peral had on his desk, so to speak, when he drew Acme for HT Fonts. He made it condensed and meant it for headlines, spacing every pair by eye, and the letters keep a bouncy, uneven rhythm that still holds together over a full line.

There is 1 Regular and no OpenType extras, and the character set is Latin only. It joined Google Fonts in December 2011. For a comic panel heading or a toy package it is right at home; for a paragraph, pick something else.
