FINAL CLEARANCE THIS WEEKEND
Small letters in Anton come up close to the height of the capitals, and the whole face is narrow and packed tight. Vernon Adams started from a traditional advertising sans serif, digitized it, then reshaped it for the web: he opened the counters a little and tuned the stems so it would hold up as a bold display font in browsers.
The language list grew later to African Latin and full Vietnamese, on top of Western, Central and South-Eastern European. Small caps and a slashed zero are tucked into the feature list, odd extras for a single headline weight.
Keep it for headlines and posters. At body size that dense black would clog a paragraph.
