Put DSEG14 Modern and its Mini version side by side and the difference is in the gaps. Mini draws every segment a little shorter, so the gaps at the joints between neighbors widen and the diagonals no longer reach the center of the cell. The letters read slightly lighter and more spaced out.
Everything else carries over from the Modern cut. Segment ends are cut on a slant, the alphabet is complete because 14 segments can manage an M and a W, and lowercase keys bring up the same segment letters as the capitals. There are 93 characters, with <, =, > and other symbols that 7-segment DSEG lacks.
Keshikan builds DSEG in FontForge. This is v0.46 from March 2020, which added the degree sign.
Light, Regular and Bold, each with an italic.
