A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Fiesta at Tia Rosa's!
The capitals tower here. Are You Serious has a lowercase only about half their height, which is very small for a handwriting font and gives every capitalized word a big, bouncing first letter. Its own description says the font does not take itself seriously at all, and the project notes add that it has a slightly Latin flavor.
It goes back to 2004 and a project called RU Serius, so the design is older than its 2021 arrival on Google. Robert Leuschke drew it. He runs the TypeSETit foundry near St. Louis, Missouri, and has spent close to 4 decades lettering packaging, logos and greeting cards; more than 80 of his families are on Google, Great Vibes and Allura among them.
It is narrow, too, so a short line fits a card or a menu board. 1 Regular weight, Western and Central European Latin and Vietnamese.
