A Note On The Page
Berkshire Swash · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Brian J. Bonislawsky of Astigmatic drew Berkshire Swash in FontLab, and the 3 source files he left show the working steps: 1 with the original overlapping outlines, 1 for the OpenType build and 1 with hinted TrueType outlines. It is a display face with a handwritten base, swashes and a sweet temperament, and it went up on Google Fonts in March 2012 in a single Regular style.
The character set covers Western and Central European Latin, Turkish and the Baltic languages. We would set it large on a jam label, a cake box or an invitation, where the swashes have room.
