Fresh lassi, made every morning

A Gurmukhi headline and its English line underneath, in the same loud, cheerful voice: that is what Braah One is for. Ashish Kumar, a type and UX designer based in India, drew both scripts to match, and the Latin side covers Vietnamese too.

It sets wide, and the lowercase is large against the capitals, so it fills a poster fast. There is only 1 weight. For a display face the OpenType set is generous, with stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, fractions and superscripts among the 682 characters. We’d use it on a bilingual restaurant sign or a festival poster and keep it out of body copy.
