Romance novel covers are on Robert Leuschke’s own list of uses for Corinthia, next to packaging, invitations and greeting cards, and that sets the mood for a connected script full of long curves. The small letters reach only 48% of the capitals’ height, which leaves the flourishing to the capitals while the rest of each word trails along low and narrow.
It packs words tight. A long name fits on a slim label.
2 styles here, Regular and Bold, with 622 characters across Western and Central European Latin plus Vietnamese. The OpenType set goes further than most scripts in this corner, with stylistic alternates, 2 stylistic sets, discretionary ligatures and fractions. Our view is that it needs size: in small type the lowercase shrinks to almost nothing.
