In the Mini cut the egg comes apart. 7SEGG-CHAN, the egg mascot of Keshikan’s DSEG fonts, normally has its 7 segments bent close together around the shell; here each segment is shorter, so wide gaps open between them and the smiling face inside, 2 eyes over the middle bar, sits in a broken outline.

The egg curve comes from Nobuo Yamamoto’s equation for egg shapes. Only 14 characters exist: the digits, colon, hyphen, period and !, which leaves the cell blank.
