Live tonight: The Iron Saints
Its designers wanted noise. Pablo Impallari, Brenda Gallo and Rodrigo Fuenzalida took blackletter as the base and pushed it toward 2 other sources, tattoo lettering and the logos of heavy metal bands, and New Rocker is what happened when those met.
So set a band name in it, on a gig poster or a T-shirt. Body text would be cruel.
There is a single Regular with 426 characters, Latin with the extended accents, plus kerning, ligatures and fractions. It has been on Google Fonts since November 2012.
