Waves against the rocks
YoonDesign took an island as the motif here, Dokdo, a cluster of rocks in the sea between Korea and Japan, and tried to carry the picture of it rising steeply out of the water into the letters. The strokes are calligraphic, the letters tall and narrow, with Hangul and Latin drawn in the same hand.
The font first came out under the name KoreaDokdo and was published on Google in 2018 as East Sea Dokdo. YoonDesign, a Korean studio that works where font design meets brands and content, also made Gamja Flower and Hi Melody.
1 Regular style. The letters sit small in their space, so set it larger than you would a text face and keep it for titles.
