A Note On The Page
Walter Turncoat · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Liberty fair on the village green
According to Sideshow, Walter Turncoat was no traitor and was never executed during the Revolutionary War; he spent his days making typefaces to help a free press along. Then the footnote admits that every character in the story is fictitious, possibly including Squid, the designer credited with the font.
The joke is the best documented thing about it. What you get is a loose, hand-lettered Regular, 227 characters, Latin only, no OpenType features, on Google Fonts since early 2011. Use it big, for a fair poster or a Fourth of July invitation.
