Robert Leuschke first made Ingrid Darling for greeting cards, and it still behaves like a card font: a playful cursive hand with tall capitals over a small, narrow lowercase. The capitals are the show, which makes it a natural for names and initials.
Leuschke himself says to use it sparingly, as display type, and never for large bodies of text. Western and Central European languages are covered, Vietnamese as well, and contextual alternates help the joins.
Set a couple’s names on a wedding invitation or a guest’s on a place card, at 28 px or more.
