A Note On The Page
Cedarville Cursive · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Kimberly Geswein based this font on the handwriting of a young preschool teacher, a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, which is where the name comes from. Geswein, who has made more than 350 fonts under the KG Fonts name and comes from a family of educators, liked the mix in that hand of fun and quiet discipline.
There are no big flourishes. It is plain everyday cursive, the kind on a note sent home in a lunchbox, and the capitals stand about twice as tall as the small letters, which gives each sentence a clear start.
It comes as a single Regular for Latin, and at small sizes on a classroom handout it stays friendly without turning into a scribble.
