A short letter, set in the family.

Thursday afternoon

Dear Alex,

I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.

See you there.

Saurabh Sharma kept running into the same brief: a charity or a school wanted type that felt warm, but nothing so comic or playful that a serious message would lose its weight. Cause is his response to that.

The strokes are monolinear, all 1 thickness, and the ends are softly rounded. That rounding carries most of the friendliness, and the letters themselves stay plain and orderly. It sets to almost exactly the width of Arial, so if you swap it in for Arial the line breaks stay close to where they were.

9 weights run from Thin to Black. We would put the Black on a campaign poster and the Regular on the app screen or the donation page, and leave the Thin alone unless the type is very large. Fractions, ordinals and super and subscripts come along, useful in a recipe or a worksheet.
