A Note On The Page
Sue Ellen Francisco · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

The name was a nickname Kimberly Geswein used for a friend. The handwriting is her own, drawn in Adobe Illustrator with a Wacom tablet around 2007, early in her font making, and she admits it is imperfect. She still likes its tall, slender lines, and so do we.
Tall is the word. The capitals rise high over a short lowercase, and the letters are pinched so narrow that a long sentence takes up surprisingly little width. That makes it handy for a label or a sticky-note style heading where space is tight, as long as you set it big enough for the thin strokes to survive.
