Pink skies over the lagoon

Named for a bird, and drawn to carry itself a little like one. Long ascenders and descenders give Flamenco its height and poise, while a monoline humanist skeleton and rounded terminals keep it gentle. LatinoType calls it a semi-serif slab.

Luciano Vergara drew 2 weights, Light and Regular, for basic Latin. The small x-height asks for size: a boutique sign, a wedding menu, a book title.
