Fusion Pixel 10px Monospaced SC

Every character in this file is either half a cell wide or a full cell. That is what monospaced means in Fusion Pixel: Latin letters take the half, Chinese characters the whole, and nothing leaves the em box, so a column of mixed text lines up pixel for pixel, the way a game menu or a scrolling log wants it to.

TakWolf, who makes the font, is open about what the grid costs. Squeezing every glyph into a fixed box leaves less room for drawing, so the monospaced files support fewer characters than the proportional ones, a few complicated characters cannot be drawn cleanly at this size at all, and the baseline sits slightly high, which can make the Latin look as if it floats when it shares a line with Chinese. The project’s own advice is to pick proportional mode unless you need the grid for something.

SC here is zh-Hans in the new upstream naming. The Han characters follow the forms of the State Council’s Table of General Standard Chinese Characters, and at 10px the base glyphs and metrics come from TakWolf’s own Ark Pixel Font, with Galmuri drawing the Korean and BoutiqueBitmap9x9 topping up traditional Chinese.

Set it at 10px or a clean multiple, 20 or 30, so every drawn square lands on whole screen pixels. There is 1 style.
