The Hangul in this file has a handheld console in its family tree.
Galmuri, the Korean pixel font Fusion Pixel draws its syllables from, describes itself as inspired by the lettering of the Nintendo DS. Galmuri comes in 4 sizes, and Galmuri11, the 12 px size, is the source here. Its author counts most of the glyphs as original work, with Latin-1, kana, kanji, some symbols and 2,355 Hangul syllables named as the exceptions. TakWolf then sets that Hangul on the frame of his Ark Pixel Font, which supplies the base glyphs and metrics at this size.
Spacing is proportional, kerned, and the baseline sits where body text expects it. For long stretches of story text that matters more than grid alignment, and it is the mode the README itself recommends. The Hanja, meanwhile, take Korean shapes.
36,999 characters, which is about as large as Fusion Pixel gets, with Greek and Cyrillic included. If we were localizing a pixel RPG into Korean this is the file we would load for the dialogue.
