A Note On The Page
Gochi Hand · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Somebody’s teenage handwriting sits under Gochi Hand, an ordinary person’s writing with no calligrapher’s polish, and Juan Pablo del Peral turned it into type for HT Fonts in 2011. The line still moves about the way real writing does, yet it holds together, and the capitals are barely taller than the small letters.
He took care over the curves so it prints cleanly, and it stays readable on screen at small sizes too. 1 Regular, 240 characters, English and not much beyond.
