Imprima was made to survive a cheap inkjet. Eduardo Tunni gave it broad counters, strong joins where the stems meet, and ink traps, small notches cut into the corners so that spreading ink fills them and the letter stays open. Printed small on a home printer, it stays clear.

On a professional press or at a large size, the details that make it distinctive come out. Tunni says each part of the design was treated by hand, with the care you would give your own family, which is a nice thing to say about a sans serif.

1 style, 403 characters. A February 2023 update expanded the character set and added fractions. Google Fonts has had it since March 2012.

Flyers for a school fundraiser or the small print on a form you print at home: that is its home ground.
