Jersey 25 was made to be knitted. Sarah Cadigan-Fried drew it for her Soft Type Collection, fonts that knitters can use to chart lettering into a sweater or a scarf, and every letter sits on a grid that translates into stitches. The 25 in the name is the height of the capitals on that grid; other members of the family come at other heights, so a small mitten and a big blanket can each get a size that fits.
There is a twin, Jersey 25 Charted, with the grid drawn in. This Regular is the clean version for screen and print, a sporty sans with the look of a number on the back of a team shirt, and it carries tabular figures for score tables.
Google added it in March 2024. Use it for team sheets and match graphics, or for planning a knitting pattern before you cast on.
