Lanterns along the river
Vietnamese cultural symbols were the starting point for Viaoda Libre, which Gydient and ViệtAnh Nguyễn built as a display family for large titles and subtitles. It leans traditional, with a few modern touches worked in.
There is 1 Regular style, on the narrow side, with 3 stylistic sets, contextual alternates and discretionary ligatures to play with, and it covers Vietnamese and Cyrillic beside extended Latin. Set it big, on a book cover or a restaurant sign.
