Krub keeps the looped letterforms of traditional Thai and sets them on a modern structure. Cadson Demak call it a text face with a twist, since details from the metal type era are mixed in too, and the aim was a traditional Thai that does not look dusty.

It was drawn at Cadson Demak by Ekaluck Peanpanawate, and Google Fonts added it in August 2018.

The Latin side is a straightforward sans with a big lowercase, good for paragraphs. 6 weights run from Extra Light to Bold, and each has an italic that takes the same width as its upright, so switching a word to italic will not shift the line.

For a Thai website or a bilingual café sign, it gives you a readable Thai that still looks like Thai has looked for a long time. Vietnamese is covered too.
