Miltonian has a partner. Miltonian Tattoo fills in the open parts of the letters, and Impallari Type, Pablo Impallari’s foundry, suggests stacking the 2 on top of each other for a layered effect.
This is the open, unfilled half, 1 Regular with a few dingbats tucked in for decoration, and it sets wide. Igino Marini of iKern also appears in the 2011 copyright line. Hotel signs and tattoo-parlor lettering, at large sizes, are its territory.
