A trip to the library for ideas ended at the DVD shelf, with the 1942 film Mrs. Miniver. Dathan Boardman thought its hand-lettered title still looked current, and that cover became the starting point for this font. He drew the letters as inline forms first, then traced around them to get a cutout effect, which is why each letter seems to have been snipped from paper.
1 style, Latin only, released through his Open Window label in 2011. Set it big; the cut lines inside the letters want room.
