A Note On The Page
Miss Fajardose · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

The lowercase in Miss Fajardose stands only about 24% as tall as the capitals. The tall letters do all the talking, and the small ones keep low along the baseline.
Charles Bluemlein made up the name. He built his scripts from collected signatures, turning each into a full alphabet, and since the results looked like nobody’s real hand he gave them invented names before Higgins Ink put them in its catalogs. Sudtipos, Alejandro Paul’s foundry, revived the set and kept those names.
It is also extremely narrow. Use it big, for a name on an invitation or a signature line, and keep it away from any sentence someone has to read.
