A Note On The Page
Neucha · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

I love you, still
Jovanny Lemonad says Neucha was invented for the sake of a single phrase, “I love you”. It was 2005, Lemonad was in love, and the first version took 8 hours. Later came a redo from scratch, with some glyphs changed a great deal and most of them left alone apart from polishing.
The name is a joke at the designer’s own expense. In Russian it means something like not knowing how to make fonts right.
Cyrillic and Latin, 283 characters, 1 Regular, and it sets narrow. A love note, obviously, or the headings on a Russian-language blog.
