Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Stephenson Blake’s Glenmoy, a script from the 1920s, is the main ancestor of Norican, though Vernon Adams blended several other old script faces into it as well. He drew it for the web, to render in browsers on desktops, laptops and phones, and Google has carried it since February 2012. An update in August 2023 enlarged the character set and touched up a few shapes.
It is a compact script, so a shop name fits where you would expect it to spill over, and the capitals tower over a small lowercase. Standard and discretionary ligatures and fractions are in the 362 characters.
1 Regular. A bakery sign or a menu heading, yes; a paragraph, no.
