Bookkeepers across a wide stretch of the world, in Turkey and Iran, on the Arabian Peninsula and in South Asia, kept accounts and financial records in Siyaq, an Arabic form of numeral notation. This Noto font covers that system with 63 glyphs in a modulated, serif design.
Sérgio Martins drew it, and Google added it to the Noto collection in March 2023. A Latin set comes with it for the surrounding notes. Its sibling for the Indian form is Noto Sans Indic Siyaq Numbers.
