Each letter in Sour Gummy is meant to look as if it were made of bubbles. The edges are rounded and the shapes slightly irregular, and the bubbles are not all the same size, so no 2 letters feel quite alike. Stefie Justprince first released it in 2018 and later reworked it into a full family.
That rework is the surprise. There are 9 weights from Thin to Black, each with an italic, 18 styles in total, so you can set a gummy headline in Black and a caption under it in Light without leaving the family.
The designer pitches it from logos all the way down to body text. We would stop short of long paragraphs, but a children’s book cover or a candy wrapper is home ground.
